If you are an IHSS Recipient and need a Provider please contact your IHSS Social Worker or IHSS Social Services Assistant; they will contact Link2Care who will refer Providers to you. If you do not know who your Social Worker is, please call 558-3976 and they will help you.

Link2Care does not deal directly with In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Recipients; however, we do strive to supply screened and trained IHSS Providers to meet the Recipient’s needs. The Providers that Link2Care refers have undergone a Department of Justice Background Check and Live Scan (electronic fingerprinting) check. Providers who have been convicted of child or adult abuse or fraud against a government entity are automatically excluded for ten years. Other offenses are determined on a case by case basis (offense matrix). Link2Care’s policy on offenses is not to exclude someone who made a mistake in the past, provided the offense would not jeopardize the safety of the Recipient. If a Provider has an offense history, the information can be disclosed to the Recipient upon request.
